The research is clear: people who are depressed and anxious have a very different gut microbiome than people who are not.
Join us for a hands on workshop in which we will discuss the correlation between gut health and mental health, and what we can do to improve both with food.
We will guide you in creating your own gut healthy powerhouse with local, seasonal vegetables using the traditional method of lacto-fermentation. You get to choose between pickled beets or sauerkraut.
You will leave with the following:
- A new understanding of gut health and how to nurture a healthy microbiome to improve your mental health and overall wellbeing
- The hands on skills and experience to create a variety of your own lacto-fermented foods at home, taught by a chef and a fermentation enthusiast with 20 years of experience
- All of the supplies needed to continue creating ferments at home, including an at-home guide
- Connection to a community of like-minded people who are also struggling and passionate about healing and wellness
